You'll notice that the ones with rightwing Conservative governments are the ones that haven't introduced legislation to prevent renters from being evicted during the covid crisis. 'Thinking about it' . . . 'look at on case-by-case basis' . . . 'look to compassionate landlords" . . . The financial interests corporations and landlords are obviously more important to protect than the people who are renting.

B.C. - bless the NDP government under John Horgan - has banned evictions during the crisis and even will pay up to $500 a month directly to landlords to help renters.
